Shipping policy
Shipping Method/Carrier Disclaimer:
We reserve the right to choose the best shipping method and carrier for your order. If a specific carrier is requested or required, additional charges may apply. We are not liable for issues caused by delays or other issues from specific carriers.
We offer Insurance and Signature Required as optional add-ons for all shipments. This option will fully insure the value of the order in event of damage or loss in transit and will absolutely require a signature to be released. If you choose not to select these options, we are not liable for any damage, loss, theft, or other issues that may occur during transit.
Limitation of Liability:
Once the order is shipped, our liability is limited to the value of the items purchased. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or theft occurring during the shipping process. Claims for damaged or lost items are subject to the coverage chosen (i.e., Insurance or Signature Required).
Damages in Shipping:
Depending on the coverage selected, we may be able to file a claim for any damages that occur during shipping. If Insurance and Signature Required was not selected, the claim is most likely to be denied or will only be covered up to the carrier's maximum liability.
Warranty Claims Process:
- If your product arrives damaged, please send pictures immediately. Detailed images will be required to file a claim with the carrier.
- If possible, file a claim with the shipping company on the spot to ensure timely processing.
- Delays in submitting photos or filing the claim may result in denial of the claim due to untimely reporting.
- Claims with the shipping carrier will typically require a minimum of 30+ business days to be reviewed. BMG Performance is not responsible for time lost in this process.
- If the address given results in an undeliverable item, the customer will be responsible for paying all fees associated.
Returns:
Please note, our returns policy may not cover items damaged during shipping unless the Insurance or Signature Required option was selected. For any approved returns, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to a mistake on our part.
Shipping Address Accuracy:
Please ensure the shipping address provided is correct at checkout. We are not responsible for lost packages due to incorrect or incomplete addresses. Any shipping errors due to customer-provided address mistakes are not eligible for a refund or claim.
Delayed Packages:
Once the package leaves our facility and is with the carrier, it is the customer's responsibility to track the package using the provided tracking number. Any delays or issues that occur after shipping must be reported directly to the shipping carrier.
Order in Transit:
While your order is in transit, feel free to contact us or the shipping carrier with any questions or concerns.
